If you have pain with your periods, it might be endometriosis. Additional issues may involve painful sex, bloating, urinary frequency and pain with bowel movements. Sometimes it can be seen on ultrasound or MRI, but the true diagnosis of endometriosis is by a surgery called laparoscopy. It is treatable with medication and surgery.
